what is the best and affordable jewelry making wire?

Im starting to create my own jewelry adn I was wondering what is the difference in wires for jewelry. I went to teh store the other day adn saw they have different colors and styles? which wire is usually the regular they use for beads? which is the basic one, and teh best … where can I buy some from?

You can use any type of wire with beads. The cheapest is artistic/craft wire. They come in all different colors. Then you can have silver/gold plated wire and of course the solid wires, copper, sterling silver and gold. There is also gold and silver filled wire, which are between plated and solid in price.
To start off, I would use artistic/craft wire. It takes a while before you get really good with wire.
