How do I create a beaded design using squared needle-weaving?
What you need to get started:

Thread: off-white
The technique used for basic needle-weaving is similar to that of crocheting. After the first row is worked, subsequent rows are looped into the first row in a predictable way. Unlike crochet, which is usually worked from written instructions, bead needle-weaving is worked from a gridded pattern. Each of these candleholders is decorated with a needle-woven band of beads.

Here’s How:
Note: Bead amounts will depend on how long each band must be woven to wrap around the candleholder you choose.
1. Cut one 30” length of thread and thread needle, leaving 5” tail.
2. To keep design pattern beads from slipping off thread, create “stopper bead.” Slip one bead on needle and let it slide down thread to 3” from end of thread. Loop thread back through bead an pull taut. Secure stopper bead to flat or slightly curved surface to stabilize thread. Note: The stopper bead will be removed after the first few rows.
3. Following wrapped candleholder pattern, string beads for row 1 form top to bottom. Skipping last bead, insert needle back through all beads. Note: The needle should emerge from the top bead of row1.buy pandora charms on our online store.
