How many Rosary beads must I smash to inherit eternal life?

My question is inspired by this blog post of the same title:

http://angrylutherans.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-many-rosary-beads-must-i-smash-to.html

I hope the good people at Angry Lutherans will forgive my use of their title as a question here on R&S, but the opportunity was simply too good to pass up! lol
Wow, Buzz, lighten up. =p
smegmakid8677, I don’t think they understood the question. They seem to think smashing beads is actually part of praying the Rosary. lol

HaHa—thanks for the post—I love the Rosary

Beading Kit a Great Christmas Gift

Are you looking for that perfect xmas gift?  Perhaps for that person who appears to already have everything?  Most of us would need our gifts to be really unique and something that the recipient will remember for a considerable time.  So with all these to mind , I think it is safe to say that a beading kit would make for an amazing gift.

When trying to choose which type of beading kit to give as a gift, you will first have to look at the personality of the person you have in mind.  Are you giving the kit to a young kid or maybe to a more grown-up person?  The styles, tools, and complexity of the kit would depend on the ability of the person.  The beads that come with the kit will also have to suit the flavour of the person or the recipient.  For example, colorful hearts and stars would be delightful to a little girl whereas an older one would probably appreciate more sophisticated colors and designs. Often folk don’t think about beading kits for youngsters, but there are a lot of straightforward jewelry designs aimed at youngsters like how to make simple beaded anklet kits that are straightforward yet tons of fun for young children.

Most kits could come with a bowl which has dividers for the different styles of beads.  Perhaps beads numbering one thousand or so would be enough to get her started.  Don’t forget to include at least 40 meters of string.  Naturally these are just the basics but if you’re planning to give to a more mature and fast-learning person then you could add a wider selection of materials.  These are some things that most beading kits come with : pairs of earring wires and rings, jump rings, eye pins, headpins, clasps ( fishhook, toggle, parrot, s-hook, for example.  ) crimps, beading elastic, handmade glass beads, seed beads, scissors, a needle pack, spacers, cutter, and an array of threads and strings.  A lot of them also come with a booklet of instructions.

Some bead kits are also made special, implying that there’s a theme to them.  It may be on a certain style, like a bonboniere kit, embroidered kit, or spiral weave kit, to cite a couple.  Or it could even be a specialty on a variety of jewelry such as a bracelet kit or a how to bead a diamond motif kit.

Whatever kind of beading kit you may decide to give your pal or family member, it won’t fail to make for a special Christmas present.  They’re going to know this is something that truly made you consider them.  Who knows, it could even be a start of a particularly fruitful pastime or business for them and they would have you to thank for it.

Using Glue to Seal Knots When Beading?

I am brand-spanking new to beading. I bought a bead loom because of the nature of what I want to make. Because I am using the loom, I have to use cord rather than wire. What I am wondering is can I seal all my knots with a dab of Crazy Glue? Because I am weaving, it would be an absolute disaster if one of my knots should undo itself. I am just wondering if there’s a reason why I shouldn’t add a drop of glue.

Any tips or advice are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Well i use a plastic glue on mine but im sure any glue will be fine even super glue. I find that when i am finished it is a lot stronger if the knots have been glued and you dont have to worry about them coming undone.
