Simple Beading

wanting to do some simple beading design on the curtains i’m making.. not sure how??
i’m going to make some curtains and matching decorative cushions for my bedroom and i want to do some simple beading down the bottom or along the top or something..
can i have some tips on how to do it or any ideas for a basic design i could roughly go by that you might have??
I already have the pattern for the curtains themselves.

You normally pull thread through the beads and then push the needle through the fabric loop at the back to the position for the next bead.
Flowers are normally popular because they are fairly easy.
I would choose the colour beads and get some pictures or outlines of some basic shapes or objects that you like and place out the beads on top to see if it will work. Then draw it on the material and stich in the beads like you placed them.
It is about what you like in the end. I sometimes look up pictures in books or Google pictures to get ideas.
