What is the best way to finish off a beaded necklace?
I made myself a long pearl necklace (I used fake pearls with tooth floss as string) and I was wondering what’s the best way to make the necklace secure. Any ideas?
If it’s long enough to go over your head, just knot off. If it’s not, you’ll need to get clasps and attach them.
If you are just going to knot off, use a surgeon’s knot. (Find instructions on a search engine: “how to tie surgeon’s knot.”) It is the only knot more secure than a square knot.
