knot beading
When I try tieing a monkey fist knot, I end up with the one loop, I can’t work into the two ends. Why?

I don’t put a bead into the inside of the knot, my bead slips out. I know the hand placement of the knot, but still end up with the extra loop, on the opposite loop of the ends.

has an animated diagram of “how to”. If you read below… in the “cons” it says it requires a lot of strength to pull the knot tight. I suspect you are making your beginning loops too big and not applying enough brute strength when trying to tighten down.
