Beading Tips

want to do a simple beading pattern on some curtains I’m making??
i’m going to make some curtains and matching decorative cushions for my bedroom and i want to do some simple beading down the bottom or along the top or something..
can i have some tips on how to do it or any ideas for a basic design i could roughly go by that you might have??
I already have the pattern for the curtains themselves.

The easiest way is to add some beaded trim that you could by at a fabric store. However if you want to create a pattern yourself I would go with a simple design first because it will take a lot of time to hand bead something. Honestly I would go with a few straight lines, perhaps in various shades of color along the bottom. Or you could layout your fabric and make the lines go at a an angle, and mark them with chalk lines so you know where to sew.
