I received a beautiful bracelet for my birthday, but it is to small.?

I received a bracelet for my birthday! It has square beads with icons of saints on the beads and small round beads between the square ones! I love it and do not want to return it, but it is to small on my wrist. The string that is holding the bracelet together is elastic and I feel like I could easily cut it and restring the bracelet. I was wondering if any one had any tips or would know what type of string I should use? I would like it to remain stretchy, just a tad bigger!

Go to a craft store and ask them to help you find the right size elastic for the bracelet and re-string it.
